Which drains are slow, whether water has come up in a tub or shower, whether it has rained recently, where the cleanout is and roughly when the house was built. If roots have been pulled from the line before, mention it.

If you can, check the outdoor cleanout. Knowing whether water is standing in it helps the provider understand where the clog is.

The phone line takes calls 24 hours a day, every day. Email is answered during regular business hours.

Renters can call too. Most repairs are the landlord's responsibility, so let your landlord know at the same time.

The provider asks a few questions, explains likely causes and how the price is set, and arranges a visit if you want one. There is no obligation to book.

If you are calling about a sewer scope for a home sale, say so. The provider can schedule around your inspection period.

Providers who work in Brea often cover nearby north Orange County cities as well. Coverage depends on the contractor and is confirmed on the call.
